在彭斯（Mike Pence）表示若他們於11月8日落敗，共和黨會接受敗選事實後數小時，川普繼續於推特開砲，除質疑這場大選的合法性，還指許多投票所被人操縱，以影響大選結果。
川普在最新的連串抨擊中寫道：「選舉絕對被不誠實且歪曲的媒體所操控，它們推著扭曲的希拉蕊，且在很多投票所也都被人操縱－令人悲傷。」
此外，共和黨於北卡羅來納州希爾斯伯勒（Hillsborough）的一間總部大樓午夜遭攻擊，犯嫌從窗戶丟入易燃物品，毗連的牆上還被人噴上納粹標誌，寫下「納粹共和黨滾離本地，不然走著瞧」等字句。
事發後，川普在推特砲轟，寫道「北卡州那些代表希拉蕊．柯林頓（Hillary Clinton）及民主黨人的禽獸剛燒了我們在橘郡（Orange County）的辦公室，只因我們快贏了。」
希拉蕊在她的推特上譴責該起攻擊「令人恐怖及無法接受」，並表示所幸沒有人因此受傷。（中央社翻譯）
